A Sweet, Intimate Wedding on Salt Spring Island

E + Y had such a lovely, intimate wedding at Hastings House on Salt Spring Island. They were low-key and easygoing, spending the morning of their ceremony browsing the Saturday Market with their families before getting ready together with Emily’s sister.

Yohann helped Emily into her wedding dress—which she handmade herself, by the way!—and the two of them walked down the aisle together.

The ceremony was beautiful: the sun was shining, and the ocean was twinkling behind them as they said their vows.

After the ceremony, we snuck off to capture some bridal portraits while their 10 guests were tasked with answering trivia questions about the couple. Bubbles were popped, hors d’oeuvres were passed around, and plenty of laughs were had by all. It was such a sweet, relaxed way to celebrate their day.
