FAQs
What is your photography Style?
1
My approach is documentary: this means rather than heavily directing every moment, I quietly focus on capturing genuine interactions, emotions, and the story of your day as it unfolds. My goal is to create images that feel exactly like you and your day.
I’m kind of a professional lurker, but in a good way.
Why documentary Photography?
2
Because typically the moments you’ll treasure most are the ones we can’t plan for! The way your partner subtly reaches for your hand, a parent quietly wiping tears away during the vows… this is where all the magic happens! And the stuff I love to capture for you.
Do you shoot film?
3
Yes! Film photography is included in every session and wedding, baby!
Film photography is a big reason I became a photographer: I was lucky enough to attend a high school with it’s own darkroom, where I spent a double-block (and after school hours) honing my craft, experimenting and playing around. I’ve been shooting film, consistently, for over 20 years (ahem, don’t do the math! That’s rude!!)
Film brings a timeless, nostalgic quality that compliments digital photography beautifully. It encourages me to slow down, be more intentional, and creates images with a depth and vibe that cannot be replicated. Team film forever!!!!
I'll send over an agreement for you to review and sign. To officially reserve your wedding date, I'll require a signed agreement and a 25% retainer.
The remaining balance is due one week before your wedding day.
How many images will we receive?
4
Every wedding and session is unique, so the final gallery size varies.
As a general guideline:
+ Intimate Celebrations: 75–150+ images
+ Wedding Day Coverage: 200–400+ images
+ Full Story Coverage: 450–750+ images
Rather than limiting your gallery to a set number, I deliver all of the meaningful images that help tell the story of your day.
